when we eat:

we usually get looked at funny.. he-he.. like today, when we were huddled over a sewage drain shaking a strainer full of black beans out of a can; pouring water through... two women came up behind us asking if we lived there (they couldn't find an open food joint) and as soon as i turned around with strainer in hand they both kinda got big eyes, smiled semi-politely and hurried off... haha!

Chicago! that water is an ocean... i know it...

we accidentally stumbled upon this. rockin! it's got a lot more details than you can see, and it's about five times as long as this short piece... but basically it's all against US imperialistic military advances in Latin America. they've got che on there, interesting though... the image is the one the capitalists have branded and sold to young would-be rebels..; it's got army dudes with weapons pointing at something i cant make out - with two presidents, i think bush and reagan, fighting over the phallic washington monument; it's got a death-reeking war room; it's got farmers holding picket signs saying stop world war III; it's got a native american person, looks like cherokee, with an ax - with a blade that looks like an american flag - interesting.. ; and then it's got a section that says 'no more dictators in latin america'. we were looking for the national mexican art museum, which was miles away from the stop we took. ha-ha.. but we saw this. it looked kind of old... and not maintained. and it was in a large spanish speaking area. it was pretty cool. and pretty legit.. not consumer friendly :)
