graffiti art in toronto

so i love toronto and the people's graffiti art. i think it's crazy that some people think it's an eye sore. what makes it an eye sore is when the mayor gets involved and sends people to clean it up and what they really do is dull it down and take away the beauty of it. you know, the kind that's still lingering? in queens west of toronto it appears as if they don't try and conquer it. you walk around and down the alleyways there is amazing art on the walls. it lights the whole place up. imagine the cities if the power didn't decide it should be outlawed! either way, you just can't keep the people down.

what vibrant colors! it's so pretty to walk around with such beautiful art all around you.

i love this one. what's the difference between this and a painting on canvas? aside from being alive and on the street walls, instead of being isolated and stuck up on a white sterile museum wall.... hmmm.
